2. Overview

We collect and process only the personal data necessary to operate this website and respond to enquiries. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or profiling tools on this site.

Retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up communication. If no business relationship develops, we routinely delete submissions after 24 months unless a longer retention period is required by law or justified by an ongoing matter.

Form delivery service

Submissions are transmitted via FormSubmit, which acts as a data processor delivering form content to our inbox at office@halfmeyer.tech. FormSubmit may process data on servers outside the European Union. We use this service solely to receive your message.

4. Website hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google LLC). When you access our pages, the hosting infrastructure automatically records technical access data in server logs, including:

• IP address
• Date and time of access
• Requested URL and HTTP status code
• Browser type and operating system (where transmitted)
• Referring URL (if provided by your browser)

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in providing a secure, stable, and technically reliable website.

Retention: Server log data is retained by our hosting provider for a limited period defined by their operational and security policies, then deleted or anonymised.

5. Web fonts

We load the typefaces DM Sans and Newsreader from Google Fonts. When you open a page, your browser requests font files from Google servers. In connection with that request, Google may receive your IP address and certain technical browser data.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in presenting our website with consistent, readable typography.
